Automatic Entry for ILCA Championships
ILCA offers an Automatic Entry option for sailors.
Automatic Entry means that if you are sent a place offer, you are automatically entered into the championship and you will have 4 weeks to pay for your place instead of the normal 2 weeks. This might be useful if you have limited or no access to the internet for more than two weeks.

You should only enable the Automatic Entry Option if you are absolutely sure that you will be able to attend the championship. If a place offer is sent to you, you MUST pay the entry fee within 4 weeks, even if you later decide that you cannot attend. If you do not pay the entry fee, your place will be cancelled and you will be suspended from all future Laser events until the entry fee has been paid.
You do not have to enable the Automatic Entry. If you are not sure if you will be able to attend the championship and you are able to pay for a place within the normal two weeks, you should not enable the Automatic Entry Option.
Changing your preference for Automatic Entry
Any time between making your application and receiving a place offer, you can change your selection to either enable or disable the Automatic Entry please send an email to the ILCA office containing your name and application number (sent to you in the application confirmation email), and explaining if you would like enable or disable the automatic entry. Alternatively you can call the ILCA office +44 1326 315064 with your application number. Once you have received a place offer it is not possible to change the Automatic Entry Option.
