2012 World Laser Radial Youth Championship

Preferred Region - Australia

Bid Deadline: 01 August 2009

Once completed, please email your bid documents to office@laserinternational.org

Details.

The World Council have advised the preferred grouping of championships for 2012 which would group the World Laser Radial Men's Championship and the World Laser Radial Youth Championship, and would welcome bids from the preferred region - Australia.

Any club who would like to submit a bid for a championship but is located outside of Australia should contact the ILCA office before proceeding.

A successful bid would be either from a host club that could cater for both championships or from a group of host clubs in the same area, that could cater for both championships. Grouped championships could run all within one week or over any number of successive weeks, with or without time in between the championships. Where a group of host clubs propose to work together, the distance between clubs will be taken into consideration as the economic and time costs involved in transporting boats between clubs may affect the maximum use of consecutive charters. The responsibility of transporting charter boats between venues lies with the host clubs and should be included in any budget calculation. Also, it is not viable for charter boats to be left for any extended period of time in between the championships.

The Requirements Documents (below) gives details for the organisation for a Laser Radial World Championship. Intended to assist you in the preparation, planning and making a bid to host the World Championship - you will find information, guidelines and requirements included.
