World Laser Standard Senior Championship 2010

The World Laser Standard Senior Championship is a restricted entry allocated championship, sailors wishing to enter must complete an application form.
The initial application for entry deadline was 5th January 2010. Late applications for entry will be accepted from 19th January until 23:59 GMT, 25th May 2010.
Charter Boats
Charter boats are mandatory at this event and are supplied with hull, self-bailer, spars, centreboard, rudder, mainsheet side cleats, control line deck block fitting with blocks and control line deck cleat fitting with cleats. Charter boats are also supplied with XD padded toe straps, which are 870 mm long.
Competitors must provide their own ropes, boom vang, mainsheet block, traveller blocks, tiller and tiller extension, sail and battens.
Charter Extension
If you wish to pick up and use your boat earlier you must book a Charter Extension. For a fee of 150 GBP you may extend your charter booking by seven days to start from 19th August 2010. Charter extensions should be booked when completing your entry.

Competitor information: Race Areas
We aim to sail the Laser Standard Men in three fleets on one course area and the Laser Standard Juniors in two fleets on another course area. In case of a delay in the program or in case of unfavourable weather conditions the Race Committee will have the possibility to alter this course area allocation.

The World Laser Standard Junior Championship is a restricted entry, allocated championship, sailors wishing to enter must become 17, 18, 19 or 20 in the year of the championship, meaning sailors born in 1990, 1991, 1992 or 1993.

The World Laser Masters Championship is a restricted entry allocated championship, sailors wishing to enter must complete an application form.
The initial application for entry deadline was 5th January 2010. Late applications for entry will be accepted from 19th January until 23:59 GMT, 25th May 2010.
Charter Boats
A very limited number of charter boats have become available.
Charter boats will be issued on a first come first served basis. Charter boats are supplied with hull, self-bailer, spars, centreboard, rudder, mainsheet side cleats, control line deck block fitting with blocks and control line deck cleat fitting with cleats. Charter boats are also supplied with XD padded toe straps, which are 870 mm long.
Competitors must provide their own ropes, boom vang, mainsheet block, traveller blocks, tiller and tiller extension, sail and battens.
Charter boats cost £350 GBP plus a refundable £150 GBP damage deposit. To book your charter, please contact ILCA immediately by emailing office@laserinternational.org.
