The European Laser Radial Youth Championship is an allocated place event for sailors who will be at least 15 years old but not 19 years old in 2009.
The championship is open to European and non-European sailors. All sailors wishing to enter must complete an application form. Please note that in previous years, non-European sailors interested in attending a European championship were asked to email the ILCA office. This has now changed and non-European sailors should make an application through our website like all other sailors.
Application forms must be received by 17th March 2009. These dates apply for European as well as non-European sailors.

A limited number of charter Lasers will be available for the European Laser Radial Youth Championship in Charlottelund.
Charter Boats will be available from 30th June and include Trolley, hull with self-bailer and padded toe-strap, spars, centreboard, rudder, mainsheet side cleats, control line deck block fitting with blocks and control line deck cleat fitting with cleats. Competitors must provide their own ropes, boom vang, mainsheet block, traveller blocks, sail, battens and tiller.
Charter boats cost 460E (Euro) plus a refundable 150E (Euro) damage deposit.
A charter extension will be available for sailors with a charter boat, costing 50E (Euro) each extra day.
Charter boats and charter extensions can be booked online at Winner Optimist, or by emailing marianne@winneroptimist.dk.

A very limited number of charter boats are available. Charter boats will be issued based on your distance from the venue taking into account sea crossings.
Charter boats will be available from 1st August and include hull with self-bailer and padded toe strap, spars, centreboard, rudder, mainsheet side cleats, control line deck block fitting with blocks and control line deck cleat fitting with cleats. Competitors must provide their own ropes, boom vang, mainsheet block, traveller blocks, sail, battens and tiller.
Charter boats cost £400 (GBP) plus a returnable £150 (GBP) damage deposit. To book your charter, please contact ILCA immediately by emailing office@laserinternational.org.
If you wish to pick up and use your boat earlier you must book a Charter Extension. For a fee of £85 (GBP) you may extend your charter booking by three days to start from 29th July.

The championship is open to European and non-European sailors. All sailors wishing to enter must complete an application form. We have been informed by the host that other events will be taking place in Helsinki shortly before the European Laser 4.7 Youth Championship. Therefore, a higher number of visitors than normal is expected to be staying in the city in August. Please make sure that you book accommodation for this championship as early as possible.
