European Laser Radial Women's Under 21 Championship & Trophy 2012
The 2012 European Laser Radial Women's Under 21 Championship & Trophy is an allocated place event for European and non-European sailors who will be at least 17 years old but not 21 years old in 2012.
The European Championship and Trophy regattas are sailed as a combined event. The event is open to European and non-European sailors. Non-European sailors shall only compete for the European Trophy. The title of 'European Champion' is restricted to European sailors only. The European Championship results will be taken from the European Trophy results by extracting a separate set of results comprising of European competitors only, without re-scoring.
In the Allocation Table below, the column headed 'No. of Allocated Places' shows the initial number of allocated places each country has been awarded. Initial allocated places are available to each country until 15th May 2012.
Places for non-European countries will be issued on 15th May 2012 to countries with sailors who have made application.
The applicants offered a place will have 2 weeks to complete entry. If a sailor declines an offered place, it will be offered to the next ranked sailor on the waiting list for their country. Initial allocated places which are not used will be reissued as extra places to countries where there are more applications than allocated places.
