European Laser Radial Youth Championship 2008

The European Youth Radial Championship is an allocated place event for sailors who will be at least 15 years old but not 19 years old in 2008.

To enter sailors must first complete an application for entry. For more information on the new ILCA "Application for Entry" process please read the International Circular 213

Late applications are now open and will be available until 2nd July 2008.

Late applications can either be accepted by the districts and ranked into the waiting list or they can be declined. Please see "Information for sailors" for further details.

Charter Boats

A limited number of charter boats are available. Sailors who have registered an interest for charter when making their application are automatically included on the charter request list, charter boats will be issued based on your distance from the venue taking into account sea crossings.

Charter Boats will be available from 25^th July and include hull with self-bailer and padded toe strap, spars, centreboard, rudder, mainsheet side cleats, control line deck block fitting with blocks and control line deck cleat fitting with cleats. Competitors must provide their own ropes, boom vang, mainsheet block, traveller blocks, sail, battens and tiller.

Charter boats cost £450 (GBP) plus a returnable £150 (GBP) damage deposit.
