European Laser Masters Championship 2007

The European Laser Masters championship is an open event. The Championship will be held separately for the Standard Rig and Laser Radial Rig and for each category. In order to compete in an age category the competitors shall reach the following ages during 2007:
35 to compete in the Apprentice Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
45 to compete in the Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
55 to compete in the Grand Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
65 to compete in the Great Grand Masters (only Laser Radial)
35 to compete in the Laser Radial Women
35 to compete in the Laser 4.7 Women

Information Bulletin No. 1

The Municipality of Breitenbrunn will be celebrating their 750 Year Jubilee on 18th and 19th August, 2007. The first mention of the name "Breitenbrunn" was made in ancient documents 75O years ago.

A HISTORICAL MARKET will be set up for the morning of Saturday, 18th August. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Craftsmen will be demonstrating the development of their crafts and skills, showmen will entertain their audiences with presentations in the style of bygone centuries, food and drinks booths will cater for visitors' refreshment and market stalls will have local craft products on show and for sale.

From 6 p.m. on there will be performances of local and historical music, and at 6 p.m. the Opening Ceremony for the LASER MASTERS EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP will take place.

On Sunday the official jubilee ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. There will-be a field mass on the newly designed main square, the children group will give a demonstration of their dances, there will be ceremonial addresses, and after lunch in the parish garden, a procession will give an overview of the history of the market town.

We would therefore recommend you arrive on Friday 17th August in order to take part in the celebrations.
