The European Laser Masters championship is an open event. The Championship will be held separately for the Standard Rig and Laser Radial Rig and for each category. In order to compete in an age category the competitors shall reach the following ages during 2012:
35 to compete in the Apprentice Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
35 to compete in the Apprentice Masters Women (Radial)
45 to compete in the Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
45 to compete in the Masters Women (Radial)
55 to compete in the Grand Masters (Standard or Laser Radial)
55 to compete in the Grand Masters Women (Radial)
65 to compete in the Great Grand Masters (only Laser Radial)
65 to compete in the Great Grand Masters Women (Radial)
35 to compete in the Laser 4.7 Rig Women
Charter Boats
A limited number of charter boats are available through charter providers 'Sailmarket' and 'ICSPOINT'. It is advisable to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. For further information and to book a charter boat, please visit the Sailmarket and ICSPOINT websites.

Late Applications are now closed
The initial application for entry deadline was 10th April 2012. Late applications for entry will be accepted from 25th April until 23:59 GMT, 18th July 2012.
The European Laser Radial Youth Championship & Trophy 2012 is an allocated place event for sailors who will be at least 15 years old but not 19 years old in 2012.
The European Championship and Trophy regattas are sailed as a combined event. The event is open to European and non-European sailors. Non-European sailors shall only compete for the European Trophy. The title of ‘European Champion’ is restricted to European sailors only. The European Championship results will be taken from the European Trophy results by extracting a separate set of results comprising of European competitors only, without re-scoring. All sailors wishing to enter must complete an application form.
Places for non-European countries will be issued on 15th May 2012 to countries with sailors who have made application. If the application is accepted and ranked by the National Laser Association, the sailor will be automatically added to the waiting list.
Charter Boats
Charter boats will not be provided by ILCA. A limited number of charter boats have been made available through charter providers 'Van Laer Yachting' and 'ICSPOINT'. It is advisable to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
