Thursday 31 July
2 races were sailed for each of the fleets today.
In the Laser Radial Boys Gold fleet Yuri Hummel dropped to 4th place overall following a disappointing 18th and 23rd places today. Filip Matika takes the overall lead with an 8th and a 13th today. There are only 9 points separating the top 5 sailors, so there is all play for on the final day of racing.
In the Laser Radial Girl's fleet Chloe Martin (GBR) extended her lead with a 1st and a 7th today. Mathilde De Kerangat (FRA) drops to 3rd overall with a 15th and a 6th today. Sarah Gunni (DEN) takes 2nd place overall
In the Laser Standard Youth Boy's fleet Evan Scott maintained his overall lead even with an 11th and a DNF today. His DNF has now been discarded allowing him to stay at the top of the leader board. Philipp Buhl (GER) sits in 2nd place overall after scoring a 10th and a 6th today. Jesper Stulheim (SWE) moves up to 3rd place overall after scoring a 5th in race 7 and a 1st in race 8. There are only 7 points separating the top 3 sailors, so there is all play for on the final day of racing.
Wednesday 30 July
Today, good conditions fo sailors too with less sun but no rain.
2 races for all groups. the first sailors get back to the port at 16.45.

At 15.30 the race committees have canceled the first race because not enought wind.

Today the first boat groups have been launched at 12.00, and the other groups at 14.00. The first races have begun at 14.00.

Saturday 26 July
The European Laser Youth Championship began yesterday with a practise race followed by the opening ceremony, on the occassion the town of Douarnenez offered a welcome present to the youngest sailor of each country. To see the photographs:Opening ceremony.
