We have released booking information for our Masters group hotel. Although competitors may book wherever they like, we have reserved a city hotel and arranged a favorable rate for competitors and their families. Further information can be found on the Masters Accommodations page. |

On behalf of the organizing committee for the 2009 Laser World Championships, welcome to our official event website! The event is now less than a year away and we are working hard at ensuring this will be a memorable regatta for everyone involved, and for many years to come. We are excited to welcome sailors from around the world to experience all that we have to offer. St Margaret's Bay is known for its beautiful and consistent sailing conditions, ideally suited for large sailing events, such as the Laser Worlds. In addition to our water, the local region is excited to host the hundreds of competitors and visitors, and are eager to show off the regions rich heritage and culture. Whether you are interested in the province's beautiful scenery, maritime history, or nightlife - we have plenty for everybody!
